Rangaroon Tea Bungalow is located beside tea estate. It is a small scenic tea garden located 6000 feet above sea level and 16 kilometres from Darjeeling with a great view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
With a small population and a tea-growing area of around 90 hectares, it is a popular destination among tourists who wish to extend their Darjeeling trip and take in the natural sights and sounds of the hills.
Rangaroon can be considered as heart of the 38 square km long stretched Senchel wildlife  Sanctuary. The natural corridors here may give chances to see the numerous species of  Himalayan wildlife, the flora & fauna during all time.
Visit with us the historic Rangaroon Tea Plantation, the Observatory cave, Rungdung River as well as adjoining forest area. Get yourself acquainted with an art of tea making, know about diversities of hill cultures, see their festivities and understand the joy of being in the Himalayas.

How to Reach-

From Siliguri the road distance to Rangaroon is about 80kms and will take about 3.5 hours. You will need to come to Jorebungalow near Ghoom and then take the road for Lamahatta. Easiest is to take a taxi from NJP station. Otherwise take a shared jeep up to Jorebungalow and then another one from there up to Rangaroon.

Tinchuley, Takdah & Lamahatta are well known tourist places around Rangaroon
Tea gardens nearby (you will get one within about 2.5kms). Some of the well-known tea estates nearby includes Glenburn Tea Estate, Rongli Rangliot Tea Estate, Takdah Tea Estate etc.
Peshoke Viewpoint is about 15 kms away where you can see the wonderful confluence of rivers Teesta and Rangeet, a place known as Triveni.

Lepchajagat is a small village located at an altitude of 6,956 ft near Darjeeling.

Lepchajagat once used to be a hamlet of the  Lepcha tribes . The word ‘Jagat’ actually means “the world’, so it was the world of the lepchas. Lepcha people are originally from Sikkim. Lepchajagat is all about  dense forested area full with pine s, oaks and rhododendrons and view of  Kanchanjangha .  Bird lovers  enjoy watching the rich birdlife in Lepchajagat.
